She operates Joo Yee (Tan Kee Pelangi) at the hawker center of Taman Serene today, while her older brother operates Tan Kee in downtown JB. 

To this day, Ms Tan’s late father’s recipe stays loyal to the signature chocolate sauce. Either Ms. Tan or her mother prepares the sauce on a daily basis at the stall. Ms. Tan also insists that she does not take short cuts of ingredients that are all produced and cooked from scratch, never resorting to precooked processed, cans or vacuum packs. A complete variety of warm and cold desserts is served by Joo Yee (Tan Kee Pelangi). The crushed ice mountain buries a generous quantity of cooked red beans, so it’s called red bean ice kacang, maize, seed fasteners and chocolate syrup tops.
