Recently, this famous Taiwan brand introduced its first Southeast Asia outlet at Suntec on June 22, and the second will open on June 28 at the revamped Funan. Milksha, also known as “Milkshop,” has been voted No. 1 by university pupils from Taiwan. Jenjudan, Taiwan’s famous bubble tea brand, opened its first Singapore outlet. Jenjudan was born in 2010 in Taipei’s world-famous Shilin Night Market. It was fun to watch a big scoop of the pearls scooping right in front of your eyes, sticking and gooey and putting them in the cup. The “brown-sugarness” was regarded more mellow compared with other products, not as strong and full-flavored. The boba, however, had a pleasant, chewy bite.
