The government has announced the RM50 credit grant previously announced only to those of you who have downloaded the MySejahtera application. MySejahtera app is a mobile application developed by the government to assist in monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in our country. Business premises are also encouraged to register Mysejahtera app as it reduces the need for writing down contact details manually, and to facilitate MOH obtains preliminary information in the event of COVID-19 transmission in your area.
Once you have the Mysejahtera app, the RM50 credit is expected to be credited directly to verified e-wallet application partners starting in July until September 2020 and it aims to benefit 15 million Malaysians. Eligibility Guidelines for RM50 e-Wallet application incentive is only applicable to Malaysians aged 18 years old and above, and with an annual income of less than RM100,000 per year. Another RM50 (or more) in discounts, vouchers and cashback will be given.
The RM50 e-Wallet application incentive via Penjana can only be used for offline and physical purchases. This means you won’t be able to use it for in-app services or online shopping. However, e-wallet application incentive to e-wallet transfers are not allowed. The money is meant to encourage cashless spending, so you can’t cash out or transfer it to another person.
How to Register Mysejahtera app and claim RM50 through e-Wallet application?
Step1: You can download the MySejahtera app on Google Play, the App Store, or the Huawei AppGallery.
Step2: Click on “Register Here” to register a new account.
Step3: Enter your mobile phone number and click “Register”.
Step4: You will receive an OTP via SMS from 63839 or confirmation link through your email.
Step5: Enter the OTP and click ‘Send’ or click on the confirmation link sent to your email.
Step6: Fill in your registration details and click ‘Confirm’ .
Step7: You will receive a “Successful Registration” message. Click “Close” at the bottom of the screen to return to the sign-in screen.
Step8: Enter your User ID (phone number or email address) and your password and click “Sign in”to your Mysejahtera app.
Step 9: Click ‘Things to Do’ button to conduct your Day 0 Health Assessment Test.
Step10: Proceed to apply for the ePENJANA initiative at your e-wallet application.

Step1: Downloading the 3 official e-Wallet application which is Touch ‘n GO e-Wallet, Boost and GrabPay from Google Play, App Store, or Huawei AppGallery.
Step2: Register a new account or log in to your existing account, following the instructions which include submitting your contact details and identification document. You must ensure that you’ve entered your name and IC number are entered correctly.
Step3: Proceed to redeem by clicking on the RM50 ePenjana banner on the home page of the e-Wallet application.
Step4: The credits will be issued to your selected e-Wallet application within 5 days.
